From here I can select any other shortcut but the only way to cancel out of the drawing is to actually draw it on the chart and then right-click it to "Erase Drawing". Or you can select the Hand or Pointer tool (whichever you normally use), if you have them included in your Chart Shortcut Menu ... Not what you want but may be a workaround? Thanks LDog, that helps.
