Hi,

I have sent a message before asking for help to reconnect to data which suddenly stopped working last week on Thursday. It has been almost 5 days since then.

After sending my log, I was told by Sierra support that:

CQG WebAPI | Market data logon unsuccessful. Server message: Unknown client application. | 2018-06-08 07:43:50 *

Your clearing firm really should be able to help you with these issues. We do not have any direct control over these.


I read the section I was referred to and after contacting CQG, they have informed me of the following (regarding my demo account):

The demo expired. They only last 2 weeks and then are recycled. You will need to contact Sierra Charts directly regarding this or an extension on the demo, we cannot alter their demo accounts.

Please contact your FCM/Broker for a new demo of SierraCharts.


Can you please advise me what to do to simply get back to where I was before. I have been unable to use my Sierra Charts free trial effectively because of this.
