I have only ever used xtrader but iv been looking into using sierra charting for a little while now. I was told that it works quite well and is supported by CTS but I see sierra chart has a DOM ladder function of its own. I was just wondering why would anyone bother with CTS when there is a DOM to go along with the charting on sierra chart? And presumably any of the functionality on CTS or even Xtrader can be replicated by Sierra so it seems like a no brainer to use sierra chart for the whole platform solution.....or am I missing something here?
