I think I need to more clearly define the issue. I am running multiple instances of SC. All the audio is heard in all of the instances but one instance. So that would seem to rule out Windows or volume level as the culprit thus satisfying Steps 10 & 11. So as to rule out Items 1 thru 8 from the troubleshooting page there are no alert conditions being used in this test. I have Alert1 - Alert Sound assigned to AlertSound.wav under Global Settings/General Settings/Alerts General 3. That should satisfy Step #9. That's all eps from the troubleshooting page. When I press "Test Sound" I have no audio sound. Mute All Alert Sounds is unchecked under Global Settings. I tried deleting and recreating the instance with no luck. I also tried creating a new instance with no luck. Once again all the other instances work fine. Have you run across this before? Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
