1) Are the existing studies still working correctly, as before?
Custom studies which are part of Study Collections, and rebuilt for the 64-bit version do not require any changes to Study Collections.

2) Is there a way to maintain the form/structure of all current Study Collections when changing to 64 Bit. For example can I simply re-compile the existing .cpp as a 64 bit DLL, "without" changing any naming conventions, and then replace/overwrite the current 32 bit DLL's of the same name thereby, once again recovering the correct names to the current Study Collections.
Yes but even if the DLL name has _64 at the end that will not be a problem.

"I can still see all of the Studies included in the Study Collections although they all appear as "Custom DLL Study." However, they all "seem" to be working fine."
We do not know why this would be the case. You should be seeing the actual study name as set by the study. If not, we would not think it would even work.
