I'm having more critical problems using text files and want to instead go to .scid files. The importing data link is useful, but doesn't explain what I need to know. After I have created the .scid files for custom instruments, I want to update these files every minute or so. Closing my regular broker connection to do this is impractical. Is it possible to add new records to an existing .scid file? (I assume it is, because that is what all data feeds into Sierra Charts do). How is this accomplished without disconnecting from my broker feed?
