If a chart stops updating, then refer to help topic 3: Http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/helpdetails3.html If you are referring to a totally nonresponsive and non-operable user interface, then we need to understand that. Note: the lock up is on the chart only the dom keeps working. Once again this is just not totally clear for us.
