In the writeup for Sierra Real-Time data feed, you say it's possible to receive futures data on one Sierra instance, and equities data on another instance, without paying for 2 connections.

"Stock data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed uses a different network connection compared to Futures and Index data. This is done for performance reasons. Therefore, it is possible to receive Futures and Index data from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed in one instance of Sierra Chart and Stock data also from the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed using another instance of Sierra Chart."

If my main instance is futures, how should I set up the second Sierra instance for stocks, in order to only be charged for one connection for the data feed?

Should I set it up as a DTC Server instance, using the instructions here?
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/NewInstance.php#UsingDTCServerForDataAndTradingInAnotherSCInstance ?

Or should I set it up as a fully independent copy, using the instructions here?
http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/MultipleServices.html

And are there any settings that need to be different between the 2 instances?
