3p = third party developers, sorry I just know that others had problems too, but not as bad as this. Things like deliberately not making features available thorugh the api that were available for their own product(such as extended historical data), and taking forever to clarify protocol issues/bugs leaving developers dead in the water, ignoring support requests and so on. They seem to be a difficult bunch to work with.
