I have the DTC server on one computer and the DTC client on another comptuter. Are the comments under 'Using Same Symbol Settings in New Instances' really only meant for a DTC client created using 'DTC server>>File>>New Instance' and so not applicable to me? BUT perhaps i have misunderstood that Symbol Settings do not get set or updated by default from the DTC Server to the DTC Client? Can i copy the Symbol Settings from the DTC Server somehow to the DTC Client, even if its copying a file from one to the other? The Symbol Settings were correct in the SC Instance before i made it a DTC Client, so making it a client lost the settings it had and reset the Symbol Settings to default.
