I currently have a chartbooks that contain charts for the same ticker, one displaying daily data and one displaying 30 min data.
The daily chart has data going back to Nov 2016. The 30 min chart is displaying data from Oct 2017 to present day.
If I go into the chart settings and increase the date range or load a larger number of days (e.g 365 days) and apply the changes, the chart will indicate it is loading additional data and after a couple minutes will indicate the chart is updated however the chart will not have additional historic data.
When I go back into the chart settings the date range will revert back to Oct 2017 to present day.

The daily and 30 min charts are pulling data from the same ticker data file in the SierraChart>Data folder and the daily chart is displaying more historic data so the data is there.
Is there any particular reason why the 30 min chart is not loading the additional data when changing the range or number of days in the chart setting?

This is limiting the data I can run back tests on.
