Anyway, we are going to do the following:

We have been working on updating the interface to TWS to the latest protocol specification that uses message lengths at the beginning of each message. We will finish that up and get it out.

We have added a re-request for account positions if there is no response from TWS. This is done every minute. This might actually have already been released in 1691.

TWS also has a request positions function, to get positions for all accounts. We will try that. We had used either this function or a function like it previously but it never returned anything. So we are a little afraid of what might go wrong. But we will try it.
