Post From: Problem with stair step lines displayed for "Pivot Points-Variable Period"

When I turn the Pivot Points Variable Period on an off by checking and unchecking the check box on the settings in the Studies list, the Pivot Points appear and disappear. However the stair step function is there by default in the transition between trading sessions. I didn't turn on the stair step connectors and I can't turn them off.

In the first image I attached, there is no evening session shown since I specified that in the settings. However in the newly attached futures chart where there is 24 hour trading so you can see the stair step connector lines as marked. It appears to be those same connector lines that are showing up on the one or two candles at the opening of the daytime market that create a conglomeration of dots which display as a vertical line.

I suspect that if I can figure out how to make those connector dots go away, that would solve this particular problem #1. I attached a new PDF with labels to help clarify the question already asked and two more directly related questions below.

Q#2: Without the stair steps, when displaying Daily Pivots, Weekly Pivots and Monthly Pivots, AND when using the projection feature to show the pivot calculations for the next trading period, it's almost impossible to tell which ones are which pivots in the current session since ONLY the ones from the FUTURE trading period are labeled by name. (See attached.)

Q#3: When NOT optioning for the next session's trading period Pivot Points the current pivots are labeled by name right at the location of the current candlestick which significantly obstructs the view of that candle stick. It would be nice if when using the current pivots only that the name labels could be projected out just a bit to the right of the leading edge candle so as not to obstruct the candle view. (See attached.)

Catch 22 - When using the forward projection into the next trading session option provided, it does remove the name label from obstructing by labeling only the forward projected line. The stair step would conveniently connect the present session's pivot line with the future period pivot line so you could tell which one it is by following the dotted stair step line. But then again, all the dotted stairstep lines become a mess on higher time frames particularly when using daily, weekly and monthly Pivot Points on the same chart. (See attached.)
