Our plan is to make Sierra Chart a decentralized exchange. Essentially one of the Exchange nodes on the network. And it will run on a much more efficient protocol rather than an inefficient block chain protocol. At this time we do not want to go into details. So the ultimate objective is to empower the users, and to bypass the exchanges, and all of that nonsense. The LMAX order matching engine is a centralized exchange model. Not sure how that would be used in a distributed manner. Our vision for decentralized trading would involve crypto currencies, but also true value backed currencies as well which do not have to go through all kinds of computational intensive cryptographic algorithms to prove their value.
