After getting the error and send you the previous message I "saved all", exited SC and said yes to "save all?" during the exit. I'm opening in safe mode. after startup i opened the chartbook i closed during the exit. it did not open the same way i closed it. a different chart opened (part of the chartbook, but not the chart i had open when i saved all). Also, two Fib levels that i have deleted twice so far today reappeared on the chart and a new Fib i inserted twice so far today was gone again. fortunately my spreadsheet work did save. But obviously there's something going on here if the chart is not saving. This is not the first time i've noticed this over the past few days, but it is the first time i've been able to accurately document it. It would seem, from a layman's perspective, the error i'm encountering is affecting how the charts / chartbook is being saved - or not being saved as it were. To be clear, after deleting those previous Fibs and placing the new Fib, i had hit "save all" several times to ensure (or try to ensure) my spreadsheet work was being saved.
