Thanks. Win7 64. Problem solved. Sierra (or Sierra's detached charts) did not like the updated video drivers. Went back to prior drivers and problem gone. Crash happened with SC 1641 as well. I won't know if SC 1649 hangs up or not because I am not updating drivers again (too time consuming if need to do a system restore). Culprit was the combination of: . Nvidia Geforce GTX 1060 388.13 . Intel VGA 1018144206 . Lenovo Display Link 7.4.48800.0 Tested on a clean Win7 install with nothing but those three drivers & an Intel's USB driver. Sierra would only crash if all three were present. |
