It seems that with a historical (daily) chart, if a date range is specified, the chart will begin correctly with the begin date, but it still plots data up to the current day, and does not end with the end date that is specified. For example, using 1/1/2012 to 12/31/2012 still plots data up to today, 9/16/2013.
