You need to read this --> Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading: Connecting to a Data or Trading Service and Opening Charts It will tell you all the basics to get you started. Bar Types can be selected under the Chart/Chart Settings Menu. Specifically here --> Getting Started, Opening Charts and Basic Trading: Additional Steps Studies can be selected by hitting F6 or selecting Analysis/Studies or by right clicking in the body of the chart and selecting Studies.
