I've had other glitchy behaviour in the past and the only way I could fix it was to delete Sierra and start with fresh data and a new chart-book One of the prior issues I had that I can remember was the Cross-hairs not activating on certain charts some of the time, you could click all you wanted but nothing happened.
You should never have an issue like this if the Chart Values tool is selected on the Tools menu. It simply makes no sense whatsoever. No one has ever had a problem like this. There must be some other explanation.Sometimes but not always, no matter where I click on a chart, no matter how far away, it will activate a drawing tool that is on the chart, in this case, parallel lines and rays. Maybe we are misunderstanding this. Are there already these drawings on a chart? And they are getting selected even if you are not actually selecting them?
