I had the same problem. But I got around it. I opened a second chartbook, went to the "CB" menu item, and selected the first chartbook, and it opened OK. Now I can go back and forth between the chartbooks, and everything seems to be displaying and working normally. So yes there's some kind of glitch, but it only seems to affect the first time you open the chartbook. The charts are there, but they were invisible until I did as described.
