We do see many of these historical data download errors for the local socket connection in the Message Log:
HD Request # 9 | Sending historical data logon request message. | 2017-03-16 12:02:11
Socket (11) | Socket gracefully closed by remote side. | 2017-03-16 12:02:11
Socket (11) | Received socket Close event | 2017-03-16 12:02:11
Socket (11) | Initiating close of socket by core. | 2017-03-16 12:02:11
Socket (11) | Graceful close received or receive error. Shutdown complete. Closing socket now. | 2017-03-16 12:02:11
Socket (11) | Closed. | 2017-03-16 12:02:11

This could be caused by a firewall on your computer. Also, in our experience when using Windows it could be caused by your computer system being under a heavy load at the time, especially with file input and output. Not necessarily with the CPU usage.

It might help to update your computer hardware. We do not know the performance of your system.
