Hello, Found a final solution. I am using the rusty, old and forgotten "Write bar data to file" study. It was already being used in the GainCapital chartbook, now I just moved it over the SC Historical Data chartbook and pointed it to the GainCapital data directory. I did set up a continuous chart with tick data but the bar data is so much more efficient. I like the stability of using one version of SC for an extended period of time. Then every so often (two years in this case) when circumstances force me to upgrade to the latest version, I have to leap frog all over the place to fix the problems. One more problem to go. Thx, WT
