i am aware that the "remote chart" feature is working as of now and i hope you wont remove it cause you might think the "instance-feature" might be sufficient. The only limitation is that continuous futures contract charts are not supported with remote chart data files opened with File >> Find Symbol. How do I get minute datafrom SC Historical Data to work inside my GainCapital/OEC copy?
What you need to do is use the File >>New Instance feature and set the Intraday Data Storage Time Unit in that instance to 1 Minute:http://www.sierrachart.com/index.php?page=doc/DataSourceSettings.php#IntradayStorageUnit The historical data for expired futures contracts will come from the SC Historical Data service. The current contracts will come from data maintained from the Gain Capital data feed.
