We did look at this previously but realize this is not really easy to implement with the Chart Calculator drawing tool. And it is not really logical either with that type of tool. It needs to have two clearly defined endpoints which are obvious when looking at it. To extend it means converting it to a Ray. Also any Chart Drawing can have its anchor points to be moved into the fill space. However, the fill space just consists of Date-Time values and can change.
