With the changes with the new billing model which is documented here:
Sierra Chart Purchase and License Information: Renewing Access

which were made earlier in the year, we do acknowledge that in the beginning there were some issues/limitations related to functionality, the design of that functionality, and documentation which did cause some confusion for some users. But as we recognized those, we promptly made the necessary changes.

At this time, once a Service Package is active on an account, as you add money credit to your account, there is either an automatic renewal which will take place or manual renewal that can be done with Renew Now, and we will make sure that button is always available for the Service Package active on an account, so that basically the current functionality is essentially the same as previously.

Also, we added the ability to purchase usage time in 3, 6 and 12 month increments. Just like previously.

And as questions come up we always have a look at the functionality and the documentation and make improvements.

So we are helping and there are two specific questions given in post #10 that we are waiting for an answer for, and will help the user.

Additionally, one thing that over the years has come up is sometimes users want to place their Sierra Chart account on hold. So one of the objectives with the changes that were made earlier in the year with supporting 1 month renewals which is paid for from a credit balance, is that a user could disable a Service Package renewal on their account to place their account on hold.
