Connection: CQG FIX Global Settings >> General Trade Settings >> Use Server-Side OCO and Bracket Orders is enabled. Bracket order to buy 3 lots with OCO stop/limit. Click buy limit. If the account does not have enough margin for 6 lots, the order is rejected. When I used T4, it seems the OCOs were set as "child" orders which only went live when the "parent" order was filled. So buying 3, worst case position 3, then when the parent filled (position +3) sending 6 lots to sell (3 on stop 3 on limit OCO) would give worst case position -3. On CQG FIX, it seems that when using a bracket, 3 separate orders are working, +3, -3, and -3, which gives a worst case position of -6 and therefore requires margin for 6 lots instead of 3. I note that Sierra logs FIX sessions, is my explanation clear or do you wish to see logs? Can this be adjusted so that I do not need to keep double the margin requirement in my account to be able to use bracket orders?
