We have been contemplating this problem:
I attempted to cancel the stop order, but it did not disappear from the Dom then the price ladder and all functions of the Dom froze.

What we think happened is that at the time you canceled the stop order, for reasons unknown the connection was lost to Rithmic, or the Rithmic bridge program abnormally shutdown because of a Rithmic API crash. And then when Sierra Chart started the Rithmic bridge program, the Rithmic API entered a freezing condition which passed through to the main process of Sierra Chart.

This is one reason why we dislike Rithmic so much. It uses an in process API component:

If the problem is what we think, we recommend not continuing to use Rithmic and instead use CQG:
