It is not correct and what help topic 1.3 explains is that the symbols are different between different Data and Trading services and to use the symbols found in File >> Find Symbol. Read through that help topic again. It provides very clear instructions on what to do. Additionally, even though the symbol works on the historical Daily chart, it is actually not really the correct symbol for the service being used.
