Thanks for you're amazing work product. I really want to expand the MP TPOs. However, I'm using v2156 and I've received a message that the .dll needs to be recompliled for v2156. Can you help?

Sorry but this version will not work for anyone from version 2151. All user studies must be recompiled for new versions of SCH. In good ... look: ................... The most important thing to understand is that this version breaks compatibility with existing compiled custom studies. Custom studies have to be rebuilt on 2155 or higher to use them with 2155 or higher. Hello, My original custom profile became obsolete once SC incorporated the ability to display two profiles of the same day, but there are still some things that the study can be used for. I have added letter labels for the block profiles that are displayed in separate columns. You can get a lot more price data on the screen with a block profile but you have no way of knowing what letter the period is – until now. You can use the example chart to see how the study is set up. It involves one chart to load the study and then a second chart that the custom profile can be projected to. There is also a brand-new study that displays these labels on a TPO Profile Chart that will be posted after this one. Good Trading --WT SC version: 2383 |

Hello, Here is a brand-new study that displays letter labels on a TPO Profile Chart. Every time you select or unselect “Letters/Blocks in own column" new labels will be drawn under the new columns. You can also choose to project onto a remote chart the current day's high and low for each period. This will allow you to combine time frames. You can get much more price data displayed with a block profile but there is no way of knowing what letter the period is - until now. Just like the original Custom Profile, this study uses two charts. The first chart is a bar chart that matches the time period of your profiles (usually 30 minutes) (load the study on the first chart) and the second is the actual SC profile chart (TPO Profile Chart). Hello, Here is the Custom Profile Block Label study compiled in SC version 2543. If the copy you are using is running, there is no need to upgrade to this one unless you want to use the new feature. If you are running 2551 or higher, it may not work. Let me know if it fails. There is a new feature that allows you to use letter labels on a bar chart. I don’t expect many people will use this but it was requested. Hello, Here is the Custom Profile study compiled for SC Version 2543. If you are not having any problems with your version of the study, there is NO need to upgrade to this one. It is true that the dll's are over a year old, but SC has been pretty good at keeping things consistent. I will do some tests later, but I don't see why it would stop working. Have you had any problems? I will update the chartbooks at a minimum. Good Trading -WT |
