I am running two Versions of SC.2755 (#1) I am trading Apex accounts and (#2)2752 is connected to my live AMP Futures account.
I open SC that is connected to Apex(#1) and data is fine. Then I open (#2) version and connect to my live account. Works fine.
Then I open two more instances on my live account and they work fine.

I open a new instance on Apex account and it connects my live account to the instance.

Problem #1 happens when I open another instance of SC from the SC running the (#1)Apex accounts. On the Apex(#1) File> Instance (open another instance) But... It opens the second instance, but the accounts are from my AMP account (the other running SC) not the SC that is running the Apex accounts.

Problem #2

On my Live account when I exit SC I get a window that shows I have open orders with my trading service. I tried to close them through the managing window but it will not close the orders. Nothing shows on any charts that I have any open orders.

What do I need to do to Open a second instance for my Apex account? I need a second instance, without it I find Instance #1 lags when I open a second chartbook in it.

Will not let me set DTC protocol Server to "Yes" I change it and press Apply or OK and it reverts back to No.
No ports have the same port number.

This should be set to "Yes" by default, and you should be able to change it.

This is in a Main Instance, not one of the sub-instances?

And this is the option for "Global Settings >> Sierra Chart Server Settings >> DTC Protocol Server >> Enable DTC Protocol Server"?

Also, what is the "Global Settings >> Data/Trade Service Settings >> Main Settings >> Current Selected Service" set to for the instance where you are not able to change this?

Very good. We really had no idea why you would not be able to change that item.
