Hello i have a study which Shows me the Imbalances in a Chart (for example 3x Times larger than the other Side) I'm also able to Change it for example to 400 in the settings so 4xlarger than the other Side No Problem so far, but now i wanted the study to showcase me Imbalances which are have for example 25 more bids than an ask at Level For example i have 50 ASKs on a Side but 80 BIDS on the other Side so it's over <25 larger than the counter side and it should showcase the imbalance Tried changing the Volume threshold but nothing worked. Can u Help me? |

You would have to change your "Background Coloring Method" to use one of the "Actual" methods. The particular choice depends on what you want to view exactly, such as the "Based on AskVol BidVol Difference - Actual". Then set the "Actual Volume Compare Thresholds" to what you want to see along with the specific coloring. For instance, from your example, if you want to color the background when the actual difference is +/- 25, you would set the Actual Compare Thresholds to the following: 0, 0, 25 And set your colors to have the "Range 3 Up/Down" colors as you want an the rest the same as the background. Hi At which Study do i have to do all this Things? my Imbalances come from the Study "Volume at price Threshold Alert V2" because there in can only See in the settings "additional Volume threshold" and Not actual Volume threshold or i can choose e.g "Ask Volume Bid Volume Diagonal Ratio" but Not "Based in AskVol and BidVol Difference Actual" Only in the Subgraphs i have "Color Background at Price" but you have mentioned "Background coloring Methode" so whats the Name of the Study you mentioned? |

Sorry about that, for some reason we thought you were using the "Numbers Bars" study. For the Volume by Price Threshold Alert V2, set the "Comparison Method" to "Ask Volume Bid Volume Difference" (or "Ask Volume Bid Volume Diagonal Difference") and then set the "Volume Threshold" to "25". The above will give you markers where the Ask Volume is 25 larger than the Bid Volume at the same price level (or diagonal price level). In order to get the opposite, you would need to add a second "Volume by Price Threshold Alert V2" to the chart set the same way but with a Volume Threshold of "-25" - you may also want to change the colors of the markers to differentiate the Ask dominant from the Bid dominant levels.
