When I change the time frame within the same chart, all the candles and indicators, etc get scrunched together (see image). When I change the chart symbol The same thing happens. I have to constantly close the program and open it. I tried redownloading the software. Nothing helps. Please help. |

There is a study causing the scaling issue. Hide them one by one until you find the culprit: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Hide Study Also refer to: Chart Scale and Scale Adjusting: Resetting the Scale For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

Does it really just happen overnight? I haven’t changed anything in months and all of a sudden I have this problem. If it only happens when I try to change the chart symbol, is it still a study causing the scaling issue? And why did it randomly just happen?

We can not say. But when a chart gets compressed like what you see, it is due to a study that is has data that is much wider than the other information you are trying to display. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Preventing Study From Compressing Main Price Graph For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
