Have read the doc, tool configuration keeps resetting back to TC1 as default. How can we set it to select TC8 as default on tool selection?

There is not a "Default" configuration. Whatever is the last selected configuration used for a tool is what will be used the next time. If you want to use a specific configuration with a tool, then we recommend setting up a Control Bar button to select the tool and configuration together. It seems to reset to the TC1, and not retain the last used TC8. Can the configuration be saved in the tool selection in the right click menu?

Please give us the workflow that you are using (the exact order of steps and what you are selecting - starting with selecting a tool and configuration and ending when you see that the configuration is not set to TC8). Something is not quite correct given what you are stating.

Hello, I seem to have run into the same question. Here is my workflow: 1. Global Settings > Tool Config > Vertical Line Config 2. Click TC3 3. Click OK 4. Draw vertical line --> Vertical line has configuration TC1. |

If you select "TC3" on the Tool Configuration window (by selecting "Tool >> Tool Config >> Vertical Line Config") then this is not setting the Tool Configuration to use, this is loading Tool Configuration 3 for you to modify and then save as you wish (either to Tool Configuration 3 or to another configuration number). To select the actual tool configuration that is being used when you draw with the tool, you need to select the tool you want from the Tools menu (i.e. Tools >> Vertical Line) and then select the configuration you want to use in "Tools >> Current Tool Config >> Tool Config n". Or, you can setup a Control Bar button that will select the tool you want to use and a specific Tool Configuration.
