Is there a way to add a "current study line" that extends to the scale and back across the bars like you can with "current price line" on price chart? I tried to add "current price line" study to cumulative delta volume and set input to CD/region2 but it wanted to display price line in the study region (2) so that didn't work. I want a line from current CD value to extend to the scale and back over historic CD bars. I've searched previous posts but couldn't find anything. Thanks!!

The "Current Price Line" would work for this. You just need to set the region correct and set it to be "Based On" the Cumulative Delta and use the Close from the Cumulative Delta. But, another way to go would be to use the "Study Subgraph Reference' and set it to be in the same region as the "Cumulative Delta" and set the "Based On" to the Cumulative Delta Close (just like with the Current Price Line), but then set the "Draw Style" to "Line at Last Bar Left To Right". The difference between this and the Current Price Line is that the Current Price Line can only cover a certain number of days, whereas the "Study Subgraph Reference" will be across all the bars. Refer to the following: Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Based On - Basing a Study on Another Study Chart Studies: Settings and Inputs Tab >> Chart Region Chart Studies: Line at Last Bar Left to Right (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_LINE_AT_LAST_BAR_LEFT_TO_RIGHT) Study Subgraph Reference For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I am also trying to make this work... I want draw a line on Chart Region 2, where I have the Cumulative Delta - Volume study. I am using the "Study Subgraph Reference" study, and it IS drawing a line. But its NOT in the correct spot ( Close )... Is there something that must be done with the scale to make this work? see my settings in attached screen shot...notice white dotted line is not in the correct spot. Anthony |

Make sure the scale for that study is set to either "Automatic" or "Same as Region". I found the issue...by accident. The "Study Subgraph Reference" must be BELOW the Cumulative Volume study in the studys list for this to work correctly. I thought that was odd. But, it is working. Anthony |

That is also true, as the general order in which the studies are calculated is determined by the order in that list.
