Hello support, Is there only Fxcm a cfd broker compatible with Sierra ? Is it plan to add others cfd brokers using Sierra (when and which) ? Thanks |

Currently FXCM and LMAX are supported. We have had requests for IG Markets so eventually that will be supported. It will be sometime this year. IG Index have recently launched a REST API for retail traders: http://labs.ig.com/rest-trading-api-guide. Is there any way we can use this from Sierra? Even if it's just to generate a market order from a Sierra which is then manually managed on IG's platform.

We will be using FIX to IG Markets. We are very well adept at FIX and the web-based API is really for less experienced and sophisticated programmers and programs. We will be looking at IG Markets support again in October. In the case of IG markets, if we add support for that trading service, our own servers will connect to IG for market data and the market data would be redistributed to Sierra Chart users through our own systems. IG Markets is on the blacklist: Blacklisted Data and Trade Services A corrupt operation. We still have yet to place our final comments in the thread on the Support Board with the story. But basically their defense is a total sham that disregards the facts, the law, and sequence of events. We recommend looking at LMAX and we are going to have a new integration model available with them in about the next 4 weeks.
