Hello, I am having trouble with intraday charting for the NQ (Rithmic). The 10-minute bar chart does not match other bar chart aggregations, such as 1- or 5-minute bar charts in the following way: 1. Date changeover. At 00:00:00 the 10-minute bar chart does not create a new candle. Rather, it starts a candle at 23:55:00 and ends this at 00:05:00. 2. Candles after 00:05:00 until 09:30:00 NY time. Starting the first 10-minute candle of the day at 00:05:00 has a knock-on effect on subsequent candles (they all start at odd times), until 09:25:00. The 09:25:00 10-minute bar appears to end after only 5 minutes to allow the next bar to start evenly at 09:30:00. After the opening, the 10-minute bars go back to being regularly timed 10-minute bars. Concerning my settings, I use standard (default) session start and end times (09:30:00-16:14:59 & 16:15:00-09:29:59) as well as NY time as my global time zone. I have enabled “New Bar At Session Start”, which seems to explain the 5-minute “10-minute” candle at 09:25:00. --> I do not know how to get my 10-minute candles to start at regular intervals from 00:00:00, like other bar chart time aggregations such as 1 or 5 minutes. Why would the 10-minute chart be different? I do not want to change my session start time, but rather align the 10-minute chart with other time aggregations. Is this possible? Many thanks. |
