I had to delete some old scid files while backtesting as my harddrive was running out of memory. Since then I have lost all my settings for this particular Sierra installation - the multiple sim accounts disappeared, the autotradechart and autotrade buttons are gone, an example chart automatically loads on startup, the number of sim accounts suddenly showed only 1 on settings and finally there are now 2 applications sitting in my Sierra folder SierraChart_64 and SierraChart_ARM64. How can I return to my previous settings without having to manually make all changes

Restore backup of Sierra4.config for that instance. Refer to the following:
Resetting Sierra Chart to a Default State / Restoring Backup Global Configuration File: Restoring Backup Global Configuration File

The reason you have 2 executables is that we have added support for ARM processors. This is not something you would typically need to think about, as there are not that many computers that use this processor.

Thanks. that has sorted it. I have to delete scid files as times to make space for new tests for different time periods. But something confuses me on why current ones reappear. For instance I am running a test (date range is 01/01/2018-31/12/2019) for the ES but as soon as the data downloading starts I notice the data folder starts showing ES HMUZ 2022 and some 2023 files which I previously deleted and the test settings should have meant they were excluded. Why is this happening?

Even though you are limiting the date range that is displayed, you are still requesting a Continuous Futures Contract. Therefore, all the necessary data is downloaded, and then only the section you want to display is displayed. In other words, the "To" date range does not control the downloaded data, just the "From".
