Profiles on DOM move when scrolling vertically

I have two side-by-side profiles on the trade DOM, set to have 40% and 60% width, respectively. When I scroll so that the range contains fewer underlying bars, the profiles get very close together. When scrolling down so that more of the range is visible, the profiles are now at the desired 40%/60% of the width. Is there a way to prevent the profiles from moving, and just have them always stay in the position shown in the second picture?

I could not find any information about this when searching or reading docs.

There is not a way to force the Volume by Price profiles to stay in a single position. The way these are drawn is dependent on the visible bars, so the profile to the left will move back and forth as the length of the visible volume bars from the profile on the right adjust.

This setting works for me Use Defined Width For Side By Side Profiles On Right, with width set at 50%, profiles are locked at 50% width regardless of vertical scroll position.

Thank you @User431178 ! Just what I needed. Seems that it would actually default to true, since most people would seem to want their user defined widths to be fixed.

Whenever a new option is added to a study we default the behavior to work as it did previously so as not to update existing users with changes to how something functions. This would be why that option is set to "No" by default.

You can change the default settings for studies for your setup. Refer to the following:

I have a variation of the original issue above.

To be specific:

* When I scroll vertically, the widths are respected due to the "User Define Widths" option being set to Yes.
* However, once one of the two profiles is out of view completely, it disappears, and the profile on the left now moves to the right and is the only profile visible. It's still the expected width, but the space where the other profile was is now occupied by the profile which was on the left.

I have tried both options for "Always Display Last Profile In View" but the docs show that this is not even the appropriate option for my issue.

So the question is, can I maintain the width on the screen for a profile that is not visible at all?

There is not an option for this. It is something we would have to add.

We take all suggestions, but we can not say when we would get to any item in particular.
