blank message log, and unable to get bitfinex binance symbols

Hi my message log pops up completely blacked out. I have been trying to get btc usd thru binance or bitfinex. I follow the steps to to get new symbols and nothing the grid shows up blank It does this for everything chartbooks etc. I am afraid to update sierra because i don't want to lose my charts and I have only been a users for a month so i shouldn't need an update. |

It looks like you have your graphics settings such that the Foreground and Background are the same (black). Check the following two items in particular in Global Settings >> Graphics Settings: - General Text Window Background Color - General Text Window Foreground Color Make sure they are not set to the same color.
