trying to back test using spreadsheets

Thank you for the update. I will explore the options. I'm facing some wired issue; I'm trying to back test using spreadsheets. however, I noticed it stopped logging trade details in "Trade activity log" since yesterday evening. I tried to following steps in Sim account sofar - install current version - Restarting Sierra chart application My computer - Disabled auto trading mode and manually buy/sell using "chart trade window". it shows P/L value in "chart trade window" but "Trade Activity log" is empty |

If the trades are registering in any way, then the information will be in the Trade Activity Log, as all of the other information is derived from what the Trade Activity Log shows. Make sure you adjust the filters at the top to show the information for what you are wanting to see and be sure to select the "Apply" button after you make any changes to those filters. It is fixed now, after Dorman addressed the activation issue. Now I have another question I have created couple of Spreadsheet System/Alert for all calculation to generate the signals, but those signals are not visible/available spreadsheet System for trading sheet. Signals from Spreadsheet Study is available in both System Trading and System Alert But signals from System/Alert is not available in System Trading sheet., Is there any settings to overcome this issue? |

Also I noticed max allowed column for System/Trading is 60, hence I'm unable to add all my column in the one spreadsheet. please help and consider this as urgent request

Any update? In simple terms, how do I refer one Spreadsheet Study output to another spreadsheet study. Please note, it works from Spreadsheet Study to Spreadsheet System trading/Alert |

Signals from Spreadsheet Study is available in both System Trading and System Alert
This is by design.But signals from System/Alert is not available in System Trading sheet., The Spreadsheet Study study is assumed to be used as any other study, whose output will appear in any of the 3 spreadsheet studies. The Spreadsheet System/Alert study is assumed to be used as a system, and its output is not seen by either of the other two spreadsheet studies. The Spreadsheet System for Trading study is also assumed to be used as a system, and its output is not seen by either of the other two spreadsheet studies. A workaround would be to use the Spreadsheet Formula study as an interface between the Spreadsheet System/Alert study, and the Spreadsheet System for Trading study: Simply put the ID#.SG# of the spreadsheet column of the Spreadsheet System/Alert study in the Formula field. The Spreadsheet Formula study can be seen by the Spreadsheet System for Trading study. Note: Despite its name, the Spreadsheet Formula study is not a spreadsheet study, and it uses the Alert syntax, not the spreadsheet syntax. |
