I have an issue with making trades when in simulation mode. Enclosed you'll find a JPEG of my setup. I use a preset configuration called "2 Targets" (Target 1 is 20 ticks, Target 2 is 30 ticks, and Stop All is 20 ticks). I'm doing a market replay. When I enter the trade, I click on "SELL MKT" to get my markings. You could see the 2 contracts set with my targets and stop. For some reason, after a minute or so, my stop line disappears. I don't why it does this. Because of that, I'm unable to make real time adjustments. In other cases, both my stop line and one of my target lines disappear. Mind you, at no point does the market hit my stop line, which would cause it to disappear. I tried re-installing Sierra Chart but I keep the same results. Could you offer solutions? Let me know if you need more information.

Most likely this is because those Attached Orders have a Time in Force of Day: Attached Orders: Time In Force You need to use Good till Canceled. That didn't fix it. The lines are still disappearing.

Take a look at your Trade Activity Log and make sure you have All Activity selected in the upper left filter and be sure to select Apply if you had to change it. Then look through the information to find where those orders are removed and there should be information in the "Order Action Source" for what occurred. If you can not find anything in there, then take a look at the Trade >> Trade Service Log and see if there is any information in there about why the orders are being removed/rejected. Although we would be very surprised if there is anything in this log, as you say you are running a replay and in simulation mode, so there should not be an error. I looked through my Trade Activity Log (Trade -> Trade Activity Log) with All Activity selected, and it doesn't make sense to me. I took 2 trades today. Each trade was 2 contracts. Both trades were "BUY MKT" trades. The first BUY trade was initiated at roughly 10:58 AM EST. For this trade, the 2 take-profits and 1 stop-loss lines disappeared within minutes. The second BUY trade was initiated at roughly 12:15 PM EST. For this trade, the 2 take-profits did not disappear, but the 1 stop-loss line did disappear. When I look through the log, I see entries that I don't quite follow. Could you provide some help starting with my first BUY trade. I included my Trade Activity Log.

From what we see, you were using some kind of a Triggered Trailing Stop, and at 11:00:00 the trigger occurred which moved the stop to 3995.25. It looks like the price then came down to that level at 11:03:29 and you were stopped out. Make sure you have the Trailing Offset set the way you want. It may be too close for what you are wanting. Refer to the following: Order Types: Attached Triggered Trailing Stop Order Inputs (Trade Window >> Targets) For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |

I'm still getting the same issue but now it seems that the Stop trigger is disappearing when the price is nowhere near it. I enclosed JPEGs of my Trade window under the Main and Target tabs. I used a config file named "2 Targets" with the settings shown in the "Target_tab" JPEG. When I enter a trade by hitting either the "BUY MKT" or "SELL MKT" button, 4 horizontal lines appear as expected (2 target lines, 1 stop line, 1 entry line). Next, I usually immediately manually move the 2 targets and 1 stop line. This obviously changes the initial tick sizes of 20 and 30 (as shown in the config window in the "Target_tab" JPEG). The JPEG name "stop_change" is an example of what happens when when I manually change the stop. It looks like Sierra acknowledges it. But, after a minute or so, the stop line disappears. I don't know what setting I need to fix this. Let me know if you need more information from me.

All of this information is not helpful to us. You need to look at the Trade Activity Log and see what has happened to that particular Stop order: Trade Activity Log: Viewing Historical Trade Activity Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
