I'm trying to plot an indicator resulting from the ratio between 2 Study subgraphs indicators (Zig Zag Delta / Zig Zag Oscillator) I thought "Study Subgraphs Divide / Ratio" could be the solution, I've put it on but I see that is it non calculating correctly, manually checking the result it shows wrong, on the attached image you can see the evidence for the rotations considered: 2 different rotations (the first one is larger) and the 2 corresponding detla values (at the numerator) the Study Sugraphs shows 2 equally resulting values which is wrong. Do I miss something or I'm doing something wrong? Definitely I want to do a very simple thing, divide (for the same rotation) the Delta with the lenght of the rotation... Tks for the help Regards R. |

You need to change ID2.SG1 to ID2.SG9 For the zig zag study SG1 = zig zag & SG9 = zig zag oscillator |

Thank you for the answer, yes I tryed but the indicator is unreadable, I need to to divide the delta value per number of points of the rotation..having a kind of representation as the one showed above... but with correct values..

It is not possible for the "Study Subgraphs Divide / Ratio" to be giving wrong values. That is impossible. It is doing exactly what it is designed to do. You must be referencing the wrong Input data, or perhaps there is a study calculation order issue: Chart Studies: Study Calculation Precedence And Related Issues Sierra Chart Support - Engineering Level Your definitive source for support.
