I want to create a way to see a heiken ashi shift (color change from high to low) on my chart by a dot or some other indication rather than it overlaying my price bars. Can you give me some guidance on how I can do that? |

Sorry, but we are not understanding exactly what you want to do. Can you give us more information on what you want to accomplish, so we can see if there is a way to do it.

See picture, instead of having the heiken ashi overlay the price bars here, have little dots to indicate each color shift.

In general, you would want to add the Heikin-Ashi study and then use the Study Subgraph Reference to reference the particular item from the Heikin-Ashi that you want (Open/High/Low/Close). You can specify the Draw Style for the Study Subgraph Reference to something like "Point" or "Star" to have it show up the way you want. Refer to the following for the Study Subgraph Reference: Study Subgraph Reference And refer to the following for setting the Draw Style of the Subgraph to a Point: Chart Studies: Point (ACSIL: DRAWSTYLE_POINT) Also refer to the following for changing the size of the Point: Chart Studies: Subgraphs Tab >> Line Width For the most reliable, advanced, and zero cost futures order routing, use the Teton service: Sierra Chart Teton Futures Order Routing |
