Hello,

Having an issue with the market depth historical study , I can see large resting orders on the DOM but those are not showing up on the chart with the study on it.

Played with the settings, I am lost.

How might I get this to work again ?

Thanks , have a great day

Can you please give us a screenshot of what you are seeing so we can understand better where the issue might be. Refer to the following instructions for screenshots:

Hello,

Thanks for the fast reply

Seems like it is intermittent, shows up now.
Was doing this last night as well.

Can I send a a log somehow and someone can take a look at what is happening ?

Thank you

The log is not going to show us anything in this particular case.

Off hand, it looks like you just have some very specific levels being displayed. If you are not using the Percentage values to set the sizes, then it would just be that the MDHG is not displaying anything due to there not being data at the levels you have defined.

Can you attach a copy of that chart by following the instructions at the following link for us to take a quick look:

The Trading DOM window that you have displayed is not coming up with the Chartbook that you attached. We are wondering if you are using a Trade And Current Quote symbol in that DOM, which would be one reason why the depth data is different.

We really need to have both. We are not seeing any discrepancy between the data in the DOM and the Market Depth Historical Graph with the chart that you sent us. In fact, things are matching up exactly as they should.

The only thing we want to point out is that you have the data in the main graph displayed as the Maximum Level, whereas the data displayed after the last bar is is the Last data. You also have a "Lowest Quantity for Coloring" set to 500. This would give you differences in the information that is displayed between these two areas, as there could have been a maximum greater than 500, but the current market depth is not above that threshold and is therefore not displayed.

There is nothing wrong with the way you are displaying it per the above, we just want to ensure that this is on purpose.

Everything looks good, so we do not see any reason why you would have an issue.

The only thing we can say is that the last image you provided the chart had not finished updating, so it would not have been in sync yet with the Trading DOM (Waiting to Download Historical Data). But after that everything should be good.

If you come across it again, let us know.

Hello

Still having an issue with the market depth on my chart, same as chartbook provided yesterday

Compared to another chartbook someone gave me, same exact settings

Pictures taken a few mins apart ( attached )
Theirs seems to be working fine ( really scratching my head now )

Is there a setting that's not in the study I have to change somewhere ?

Thanks for your time

Let me know if I have to provide anything

Have a great day

We will take another look at the Chartbook you gave us previously and see if we can reproduce what you are seeing and then figure out why it is occurring.

I think it is intermittent , the resting orders are showing up now

Happens every day , only way I see it is if the DOM depth is increased
( only see those orders on the dom )

Thank you again for looking at this , it's confusing

The footprint chart, which is the one I stare at the most

Can there be an issue if I have that study on other charts ?
Going to delete and try

You have multiple footprint charts. Which chart # is it?

Right now there is a level of 502 at 4635.00. Is this showing correctly on your chart?

Ok. we'll have to watch for it. Your Market Depth Historical Graph showed the level correctly, so I was wondering if it was showing correctly on your end.

Really, there is no reason for there to be an issue. Everything looks good with your setup.

Although it should not make any difference, the one change we would like for you to do is to turn on the DOM on the chart itself and watch the values in that DOM rather than the Trading DOM. Let us know if you see an issue when watching it this way.

The only thing we can suggest doing is to start a new chart and build it up to match the old chart. See if you continue to have an issue with that new chart.

When we watched your chart last night, we did not see any issues. Everything was showing up correctly.
