Hello, after use the "export bar and study data to txt file" function, the defined Editor (Notepad++) will be started directly. Is it possible to deactivate the start of the editor with the function. I what to store the data only. regards carsten |

The only way to not have the editor come up is to remove the entry for the editor, which will then not have it come up for any other functions that use it as well. To do this, remove the entry in the Global Settings >> General Settings >> General 1 >> Daily Data Editor. Hello, on this generell settings I can change the editor but I am not able to unset. Every time i delete the editor entry and say apply. It configured afterwards again. what is a working and good entry to define here, to start nothing? thanks |

Sorry about that, we forgot it did not allow a blank entry. The easiest thing to do is to select the Select button under the section for the editor and then select the option for All Files under the File Type at the bottom of the selection page. This will show you all the files that are in that folder. You should have a readme.txt file. Select that file. You will get an error in your Message Log when you do the export, but you can ignore it. Can we not get a check box in the options to disable this? It is very annoying to have the editor automatically appear when exporting data.
