Searching ASX symbols/charts

Hi, I have connected data with Interactive Brokers with Sierra Chart. Connection is working. Currently unable to workout how to search specific ASX (Australian Stocks) symbols to use Sierra charts for that symbol, specifically for Volume Profile and Market Profile. Some of these symbols also have the same letters for US stocks or other markets across the world, so I just want to make sure Is there a specific way to search certain ASX symbols. Thanks |

You really cannot use Interactive Brokers data for Volume Profiles. We can provide you a 15 minute delayed streaming tick by tick quality data feed for Australian stocks. Would that work for you? We have to set this up and we can do this over the weekend. When it is done you would need to use the Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed: Sierra Chart Exchange Data Feed You would have to activate the ASX exchange for the data but there may not be any fee for it. You will need to also pay for the real-time data connection. For the record this market data as of yet has not been offered and would be offered through our data vendor, Barchart. But as of yet, this has not been done. This set up we have to do refers to setting up the symbol mappings in Sierra Chart to access the data directly from Barchart servers and also setting up the option within your Sierra Chart control panel to enable this particular exchange through our data provider Barchart. We want to update this thread, that we are not going to be able to offer this data feed. Some more research has been done into it, and there is a problem with our data provider being able to provide it into our third-party software due to exchange rules.
