Hello, i am unable to change my "data range in file" to a closer date to cut down on storage on my disk. everytime i try to change it it flashes and goes back to original date. thanks

There really is not an automatic way to do what you want to do. If this is a symbol that you access, then we recommend you leave it as it is.
