When I went to exit the program today a popup window appeared and said "You have open orders with your trading service. Do yo wish to exit. Why is this appearing and where do I see open orders. I have never seen this before. The only thing that I did was download the recent version. And when the program exited to process the download I did not get that popup window message. But when I exited after the download I did. When I open the Trading Orders Window it shows 4 orders from January 2020. They are 2 sell limits at the same price and 2 stops at the same price. They are from an expired contract and were In force for Day only. At the very least they should not be there as they were day only orders. They are Internal Order ID 174, 1741, 1742 and 1743. Are these what the system is referring to I assume so? If so how do I delete them. I am in Simulation Mode so I do no know how they got there yet the Trade Account is my live account. Thank you. Are they simulated orders? Look at the Trade Account for them. Select them and select "Cancel" on the menu.

They were not simulated so I Un-enabled simulation mode and was able to cancel. Them. Followup question - to stop the message and trade message pop-up windows from appearing every time I execute a trade do I need to add an account number in the Trade account field of the Data/Trade Settings. And if so I will not be able to execute trades from the chart or Sierra at all unless that is enabled.. correct. I do not want to be able to yet. I am still waiting to get my account transferred to use Sierra to trade but until then I just want to eliminate those popups every time. Thank you. |
