They were not simulated so I Un-enabled simulation mode and was able to cancel. Them.

Followup question - to stop the message and trade message pop-up windows from appearing every time I execute a trade do I need to add an account number in the Trade account field of the Data/Trade Settings. And if so I will not be able to execute trades from the chart or Sierra at all unless that is enabled.. correct. I do not want to be able to yet. I am still waiting to get my account transferred to use Sierra to trade but until then I just want to eliminate those popups every time.
