it seems that when charts are too "squashed" / zoomed out, the speed of UI operations (e.g. moving the cross-hair, adding and changing studies, scrolling/shifting the chart and even order entry from the chart) become very slow / unresponsive. That's especially true when the chart is connected to a data feed, but interestingly it is also present when the chart is offline. Also it seems that the above effect is present for ALL charts in a chartbook, even when a single chart in that chartbook is "squashed" too much My question is whether there is SC setting which can neutralise the above - i could not discover such hence this post |

the issue described in this post is NOT caused by the Market Depth Study or any other study for that matter. Also changing the tick size is not an option in my case please, lets leave the SC Engineering Team to answer the question Date Time Of Last Edit: 2020-06-07 09:31:37

Refer to help topic 30.23 here: High CPU Usage | Inactive User Interface | Poor Performance | Long Time to Load Chart Data | Charts Reloading Often: 30.23 - Chart Tick Size and Volume at Price Processing What is the symbol of the chart? This is not relevant: I changed the ACSIL Performance increasing to 5000ms but the problem persist.
